Best Charleston Spots

I recently went to Charleston with some friends for the day and I had the best time!

When you don't have much time in the city it can be a bit overwhelming to know where to go and what to do.

I've gone a few times since starting to college so I feel like I can confidently say where my favorite spots are!

Rainbow Row

Rainbow row is a really cute section of houses of different colors. Parking is a bit of a challenge so you're better off walking from a parking deck or your hotel depending on how long you are staying. I've gotten some really cute photos here and it's definitely the best spot to add some color to your Instagram feed. Rainbow row is kind of those "did it once don't need to do it again," places unless you really love it.

GASP

I recently went here for the first time and oh my god. This is the cutest store ever. The front is pink and when you walk in there are super cute tote bags and knickknacks. If I had an endless wallet I would have bought everything in there. The sales associates were super nice when I asked their opinion on some earrings I was planning on buying. I ended up buying a glass cup that says "Lucky Girl" and a pair of teardrop gold earrings. They had something for everyone ranging from Taylor Swift accessories, Harry Styles coloring books and funny trucker hats. I will definitely be going back!

Candlefish

I went here for the first time on a solo day trip on the 4th of July. There was barely anyone in the city which was so nice. I stopped in not looking for anything in particular and I asked each sales associate to show me their favorite candle. They pulled at least 20 from their "library," of candles. I ended up buying #58 which is a lemon scent that made my room smell so clean. I ended up using the entire candle which I have never done before so when I went back I bought another candle from their Rewind collection that smells like Prosecco. They have cute Charleston prints and a make your own matchbox station which is adorable and some super cute matchbox prints with local spots on them.

Studs

Although their earrings are a bit on the pricey side I have had a few huggies from them and some hoops and they have not tarnished or faded at all! I have worn the huggies for about a year now for every night including the shower and the ocean and they have held up beautifully. You can also get a piercing here which I've had one of my cartilage jewelry changed at Studs and the piercer was SO nice.

Brown Dog Deli

Seating is limited so you definitely have to go with a smaller group but the sandwich I had from here when I went was to die for! Not too expensive either but it's gotten more popular recently and you are likely to find a line out the door whenever you go.

LoveShackFancy

I obviously can't afford anything in there but a girl can dream. They always have beautiful florals outside of the shop for some cute pictures and the inside decor is divine. The sales associates are always kind even though I think they know I'm not buying anything.

Record Stop

By far my favorite record store I've ever been to. The selection is endless and the owner knows his stuff. I was looking for one record in particular and he said he would order it for me! I would have let him had I not been there for only the day. I got an originial pressing Jimmy Buffet for my dad their and I've gotten other records! He has almost every Taylor Swift vinyl including Reputation which is so hard to find.

PARKING

The cheapest parking deck I've found is on Wentworth St across from The Lindy Renaissance Charleston Hotel. It was $6 for 3 hours of parking which normally would have been $20 any where else. You can also get some pretty cute pics on the roof with the bridge in the background!
